OVERVIEW

Working memory is critical for problem-solving, reasoning, and learning. It supports tasks like following instructions and performing mental calculations. Impairments in working memory are linked to conditions such as ADHD and age-related cognitive decline, affecting multitasking and information processing.

MEASUREMENT

N-Back Task: Requires participants to recall items presented "n" steps earlier in a sequence.

Corsi Block Tapping Test: Tests visuospatial working memory by requiring participants to replicate a sequence of block taps.
